Federation of American Women's Clubs Overseas

Our Club has been a member of FAWCO since 1993. This organization is an international network of 78 independent American women's associations located on six continents. With a combined membership of over 17,000 women, FAWCO brings member clubs together to support American women living abroad, to share information on matters of common interest, and to address the particular issues affecting American citizens residing outside the USA

Support FAWCO as you shop online!
You can help support the FAWCO Foundation (which funds the Member education grants and other programs available to members) via online shopping.

If you have a US Amazon Account, you can set your smile.amazon.com charity to the FAWCO Foundation (be sure to search for the full name). iGive also donates proceeds when you search at many familiar online brands - and you can select the FAWCO Foundation there too.

The recent Biennial Conferences for 2020 and 2021 were held online.  Please see the FAWCO website for further details.

2019 Edinburgh - FAWCO Biennial Conference

Our Club hosted the 2019 Annual FAWCO Conference this past March.  Hundreds of women and men came from all over the world to attend this conference.  It was a privilege and pleasure to host this conference and we salute the many AWCCS volunteers who worked to make this conference a success.

Going Home Soon?

FAUSAFAUSA
Are you returning to the US any time soon? Whether you are being dragged back kicking and screaming or if you can hardly wait to return home, you will probably find that as a “repat” you and your family members are different sorts of Americans from those who stayed behind.

This can be a jolt, but there is help out there for you. Membership in the FAWCO Alumnae, USA, better known as FAUSA keeps you in touch with others who understand the life changing experience of living in other cultures.

Besides the pure psychological support of being a part of this network, there are other benefits, too. The Quarterly magazine carries articles of interest to “repats,” and you may apply for the FAUSA Education Award for yourself or a child. In addition, FAUSA members may attend the FAWCO conferences overseas and the FAUSA Annual Meeting, which is in a different part of the US every fall. Learn all about FAUSA, contact someone in your region, and download an application at www.fausa.org. We would love to hear from you.
