Reminder to All Voters

This is a good time to remind everyone that it's wise systematically to request an absentee ballot every year so that in case of a special election, you won't get caught vote-less! 

Now that the MOVE Act has been approved in both houses, no state will be able to refuse your request on the grounds that it was submitted too early, so the first New Year's Resolution of every overseas American should now be to send an FPCA to your local election official, whether you think there is an election coming or not. 

This has become a far easier process than in the past, thanks to our partner Overseas Vote Foundation and to the more user-friendly Federal Voting Assistance Program.

So there's no excuse to let an election creep up on you!
